Blessings for Amy

1HourScrap.com is gearing up to release our first Donation Kit & QuickPage Album to benefit someone in need. This is especially near and dear to my heart since our beneficiary is the daughter-in-law of a close friend of mine.
A little less than a year ago, Amy Clarke had an ear ache that wouldn't go away, and after a series of tests and doctor visits, the source was found to be stage IV Metastatic Melanoma that had spread to her brain, spleen, ovaries, lung, and lymph nodes. You can read her story and her journal on www.CaringBridge.org. Click on "Visit a Caring Bridge site" and type in amyclarke:

Amy Clarke's Journal

Amy is a young mother of two daughters, Reagan and Savannah, and wife to Michael, son of my friend, Carolyn Clarke. Her father is currently updating the journal for Amy since she is unable to do it herself. I covet your prayers for this sweet family.

URGENT!!
Things are not going well. PLEASE PRAY FOR AMY!!
This is from her journal on the caringbridge website:
~~~~~~
This is Carolyn, Amy's mother-in-law. As Michael said last night, "Things have gone from bad to worse and they keep getting worse." We think Amy had another mild seizure last night. She was stable through the night as Michael observed her until 6:30 AM when he went to sleep for a few hours. Her blood pressure dropped to 60/40 at which time 911 was called to take her to the hospital. Amy has a collapsed lung and likely pneumonia. She also might have an infection in the site of the feeding or IV tubes. Amy has received massive dosages of antibiotics and is on a breathing tube. The doctor told Michael she has a 50-50 chance of surviving this latest problem.
Michael is extremely exhausted mentally and physically. He has given care to Amy that truly honors their marriage vows doing things for her most of us will not be called on to ever do. Please ask God to encourage him and to give him peace, rest, comfort and strength.
We are thankful Reagan's biological father is going to be with the girls before he has to go to work and his mother is also on her way to get dinner for the girls and to help our wherever needed.
For Amy please pray God will manifest Himself to her in very real ways bringing her comfort, no pain and strength to weather yet another storm. If it would please Him we pray for the miracle of healing. As I've said many times, God has a mighty plan for her, Michael and the girls and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Please pray for all of the family and especially for little Savannah who will be 3 tomorrow.
Thank you for standing with us. We praise God for you.
"Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words." Romans 8:26
