Field Trip to Manassas Museum

A friend from our Classical Conversations group organized a field trip to the Manassas Museum. It's been awhile since I took the kids through there, so Rebekah and Renee had either never seen it before, or didn't remember because they were too young. The older three had Taekwondo at the same time, so I just took the twins today. They divided our group in half and took each group through the a separate demonstration, and then switched, so we got to hear both what it was like to be a child during the Civil War era, and what it was like to be a soldier. You can see how much fun it was in the slideshow, here: http://www.mcfarlandphotography.org/museum

Rebekah and Renee are looking so grown up! What a fun trip -- you're a great mom.
