Another Funny from Renee

We were getting ready to go to an extra curricular activity with some other homeschool Moms and kids at a friend's house. This club was started by some friends of my boys--they wanted to have a "War Between the States" club where they would "reenact" a battle from the Civil War with their friends. It meets about once a month, previously it was even in Bull Run Park, near the battlefield. Recently we've been meeting at one friend's house instead; the park would let the boys use the field, but we weren't allowed to use the shelters in the park unless we reserved them each time for $250!!! Even if no one else was there (which they usually weren't because it met during the weekday), we could not use the shelters. SO, we found it much more comfortable (especially us MOMs) to go to someone's house and hang out while the boys 'fought.'

ANYway, all that to say that while we were getting ready to go, Renee kept asking "Is it time to go to the 'silverware' club yet?" ROFLOL!
