Ribbons!

We stopped by the opening day of the Student Art show this evening, and were excited to find a FIRST PRIZE ribbon on Nathan's snowy mountain pastel. He was in the 16-18 year-old group. Only the Best in Show pieces (there were two this year; one for those 16 and up and one for 15 and below) received a cash gift, but it was still exciting. To my surprise, I won 2ND PLACE in the adult category for the Lucky scratchboard piece, and an Honorable Mention ribbon for the Kudus in pastel.
