Caleb's Chinese Celebration

Caleb's 11th birthday was yesterday, and when asked what he wanted to have for dinner, he said Chinese, so we took the whole family out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant, and gave him his present there. He wanted an X-mod remote control car from Radio Shack.

He had kind of a hard day, with having to do school and clean the house, and then his birthday cake fell when it was taken out of the oven! :o( I think he liked his birthday better as the day went on, though, and was pleased with his present, as you can see for yourself:

















Even though we know God is the One Who numbers our days on earth, it was still nice that Caleb received a good "fortune" in his cookie: "You will live a long and wealthy life." :o)

Rebekah & Renee enjoyed the orange slices they gave at the end of meal.
