Visiting "Old" Friends

Homeschooling is not always done at home. A friend of mine teaches science at a local high school, and offers a class for homeschoolers once a week in Biology. The older boys are taking it, and usually car pool there, but today I dropped them at class and took a little time out to visit a friend. To my surprise, there were actually two friends there, so I got a "twofer." LOL I was able to see my friend's adopted newborn baby...he's SO cute! The 2nd friend was there picking up her daughter (adopted also) that stays there while she works part-time. It is amazing how quickly children grow when you don't see them often. We had a lovely time of catching up...although, as always, much too short.
