Since we were studying the War for Independence and the flag they made for to represent their new federation of states, our assignment was to come up with a design for our own flag. These are the flags each of the kids made. You can see the kids are chips off the old block--two of the boys had a computer as their "logo." Katelyn's, of course, was the pink one with a crown for her nickname, "Princess," and Micah's is green (his favorite color). Micah also has an "M" drawn with pencils and drums, representing his other loves. Rebekah has the monkey bars--she is fearless and has fallen in love with climbing on the monkey bars and is giving me even more gray hairs. LOL Rachel has a kitty on her flag, and Renee drew herself.
