This is an origami cube that Nathan made last night. He did a great job! It contains 12 separate squares of paper. It is more like a cube shell, as it is hollow and has the star shape hole on each side. The kids like to do Origami. Bill taught them some and used to take them to Washington, DC to the Origami meetings there.
One time I went to the hair dresser and one of the workers there made me a heart out of a dollar bill. Bill took it and studied it and learned how to fold it himself. We have several books on Origami. In fact, Bill is interested in many things from the Japanese culture: origami, Go, sushi, and bonsai. Once I bought him a Bonsai tree for Father's Day. Unfortunately, it was a white miniature rose tree and it didn't last long. He always wanted to have a bonsai tree for each of our children to pass on to them. Maybe someday....
